Accessibility

The Neon Museum is accessible in accordance with ADA (AA) requirements. The Neon Boneyard has a fine gravel surface that both powered and unpowered wheeled devices can easily navigate.

Weather Conditions

As the Neon Boneyard is an outdoor collection, all scheduled tours are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather; however, we rarely cancel for rain. The Neon Museum is a rain or shine experience.

Please dress weather appropriate for the perfect outdoor experience. If a tour is cancelled, we will attempt to place you on the next available tour wherever possible or provide a full refund.

Film & Photo Policy

Guests visiting The Neon Museum are required to follow the Visitor Photography Guidelines.Cameras and external equipment like tripods, selfie sticks, etc. are not allowed. Personal use only snapshots are encouraged, on mobile phones or tablets.

Is The Neon Museum open on holidays?

The Neon Museum is happy to be a part of your holiday traditions! The Neon Museum is open 365 days a year.

Does The Neon Museum offer refunds?

The Neon Museum does not issue refunds. If you miss your timed admission, guests assume all responsibility and your admission will be considered as a donation to the Museum.

Are there any visitors' guidelines?

Museum-appropriate attire is required.Attire that is not appropriate for The Neon Museum (and which may result in refusal of admittance or ejection) includes, but is not limited to, bathing suits,clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics, or clothing which exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment.

Shirts and shoes are required in the Visitors’ Center, when on a tour and during General Admission and Brilliant!

Guest assumes all risk of injury. We recommend visitors wear closed-toe shoes and museum-appropriate attire. Going over the stanchions/rock border or touching the signs/collection is strictly prohibited. Absolutely no alcohol, drugs, weapons smoking of tobacco, or electronic cigarettes/vapes.

Does The Neon Museum accept cash?

The Neon Museum is a cashless venue. Guests can use valid debit or credit cards, or mobile wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.

Can I record audio/video at The Neon Museum?

Yes! We encourage you to use your phone or tablet to capture video during general admission and guided tours and share these wonderful images with your friends and family. Video or audio recording is not allowed in the Brilliant! Jackpot North Gallery; however, we encourage you to use your phone or tablet to capture still imagery. We offer otherPhoto Opportunitiesfor those interested in professional video shoots.”

Can I take photos at The Neon Museum?

Personal-use photos are encouraged on cell phones and tablets only. All other cameras, props, outfit-changes, external photo equipment including tripods, lighting, gimbals, selfie sticks, microphones, etc. are prohibited during regular visits. We offer other Photo Opportunities for those interested in professional photo or video shoots.

Should I pre-purchase tickets for The Neon Museum?

YES! YES! YES! Please purchase your tickets in advance

Due to frequent sell-out nights, advance ticket purchase is highly recommended.

How can I connect with the museum on social media?

Can I bring my own food and water with me when I visit?

Bottled water is allowed. Packaged food and drinks are also available for purchase in the Museum store.

Can I bring my backpack or large bag into the Museum?

Backpacks, luggage and large bags are not allowed in the Museum. As a courtsey, we can check your items at the box office.

Small personal bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 6 “ | 30cm x 30cm x 15cm are welcome.

What do I do if I’m running late for my scheduled visit?

We’ll make every effort to catch you up to the tour. However, please note, guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their place. Please call us as soon as you realize you may be late at 702-387-6366 ext. 101.

Do you offer private tours of the Boneyard?

No, however, we do offer group sales for groups of 15 or more! Please email groupsales@neonmuseum.organd someone will get back to you with rates and availability.

Can I take an earlier tour if I arrive early?

No. Your ticket is time specific and is a guaranteed space. Walk-up visitors can buy a ticket for a tour before your time, but they have done so on a very limited first-come, first-served basis and risk not being sold a ticket.

I have a concealed-carry permit. Can I bring my firearm onto the campus?

Firearms are not allowed on the campus of The Neon Museum regardless of whether you have a concealed-carry permit. Weapons of any type are not permitted at The Neon Museum.

Can I bring pets to the Museum?

Only service animals are allowed at The Neon Museum.Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as an animal that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the animal must be directly related to the person’s disability.

Museums for All

Museums for All is offered to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. The program supports thosereceiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits to visit the museum for a minimal fee of $3.00 per person, up to four people maximum per party, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. Each cardholder must have their own reservation under their own name. Valid photo ID required and SNAP card required at check-in. The Neon Museum accepts SNAP from all 50 states.

Foster families are also supported by Museums for All! Valid photo ID and foster placement letter required at check-in.
