Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our retail operations in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry, a proven track record in retail management, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
• Manage all aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, recruiting, payroll, and employee management
• Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and uphold exceptional customer service standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase customer loyalty, optimize operational efficiency and implement strategies to increase profitability.
• Oversee store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive work culture
• Conduct employee orientation and training programs
• Interview, hire, and train new employees
• Monitor inventory levels and make purchasing decisions
• Implement sales management techniques to achieve targets
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
• Manage inventory levels, product selection, and merchandising to meet customer demand and maximize sales.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven experience in sales management and store management
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in communication or business management or a minimum of 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on creating a positive and productive work environment.
• In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
• Excellent understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis sales.
