One of the biggest things that helped me to shift my mindset from negative to positive is gratitude. It is often easier to focus on everything you are unhappy with in your life. However, shifting your attention to the things you have in your life that you are thankful for can change everything.
If you aren’t ready to jump headfirst into the world of gratitude a good place to start would be Thankful Thursday.
What is Thankful Thursday?
What is one day every single year when people focus on what they are thankful for? Thanksgiving.
And it happens that Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. This is where the saying “Thankful Thursday” originated from, but it doesn’t mean that you have to limit your gratitude to Thanksgiving only. There are 51 other Thursdays in the year that you could practice Thankful Thursdays.
How Can You Celebrate Thankful Thursday?
On Thanksgiving, many people celebrate it by sharing a meal (usually Turkey) with their friends and family and sharing what they are thankful for.
For the other 51 Thankful Thursdays in the year, there are many different things you can do to celebrate gratitude.
