Aimee and Eddie | Omaha NE Portrait Photographer

Aimee and Eddie are just too awesome for words. I mean seriously, they are hilarious. The entire session was just filled with laughter and goofiness. They were all smiles the whole time and sometimes they couldn’t even look at each other they were laughing so hard. There are so many moments that stand out, Eddie scaring the crap out of Aimee due to my poor direction (sorry Aimee), Eddie trying to get Aimee to eat leaves and just other ridiculousness. It was great because they were up for anything, yes I made them sit in leaves, lay on the ground, and climb a dirty fire escape. It would be my session without getting a little dirty.

I met them at their beautiful apartment in downtown then we headed out to Old Market. As you know it is one of my favorite places because of the light and just unique backgrounds. I like to stay away from the normal spots and adventure out a little. I always end up in the same little cove.

I went to Heather Coles workshop back in August. I’ve been thinking about these images ever since, but I just couldn’t find time to spend on them. While I was working this weekend, I came across them and knew I had to work on a few. I absolutely love these images, I love the love in these images!

The couple, Shelley and Andy, were our models for the afternoon. They are married and so madly in love (wait till you see how they look at each other). They were constantly holding hands and giving each other these cute little looks. They were like that the entire time we spent with them.

This workshop was truly amazing, I think I used the words “life changing.” Heather is an amazing teacher and photographer. It really inspired me to challenge myself as a photographer and keep following what I love.

This week be prepared for a couple awesome blogs, from a cute wedding couple in St Louis, a fun family, and an engagement session full of love at the coolest location ever.

Brandon and Courtney | Omaha Nebraska Photographer

Brandon and Courtney are celebrating their one year anniversary this month. It is a perfect time to get together and take pictures. I admit it was hard to select only a few to post on my blog. I wanted to post the whole session.

They are a cute couple. Brandon always had Courtney laughing. To quote Freaks and Geeks, “Get a woman laughing, you got a woman loving.”

We started out in downtown, then went to the library, and finally ended at their beautiful home(When I have a house one day I hope Courtney will come decorate for me). It was freezing outside at the courthouse. They were both awesome though. Thank you guys for freezing with me. You were so much fun to work with. I can’t wait to see you again soon.
