Kristina, Kaylee and Deanne are creative, fun, awesome, super fantastic and that is only the beginning. I had a wonderful time photographing them. Deanne and her daughters have an amazing relationship. In an hour and a half I was able to see their love for each other. They laughed, hugged, and enjoyed their time with each other. They were able to relax and be themselves in front of the camera (once again making my job way too easy). I also learned from this session that ducks like chocolate chips. Who knew?

Jamie recently adopted Rayetta and Rashaya. This is their first set of family pictures. How exciting! They make a wonderful family and Jamie has a busy life. These girls love to run, play, and just be goofy. At the end of the day they find time to love on their mom. Jamie lights up around her children. They are so lucky to have found each other. I’m so blessed to have the opportunity to take pictures to celebrate their family.

When I met Amber for the first time I desperately wanted to photograph her wedding. Our first emails to each other involved talking about wanting to be hipster chic and addicted to etsy. I remember driving to Panera bread that morning thinking, oh my gosh, I’m so nervous! It may sound strange, but I get nervous before every consultation, wedding and portrait session (but my husband, who is my rock, always calms my nerves and reminds me to be me).
I had the honor of photographing their wedding. Amber and David are so happy. It is a happiness filled with goofiness, laughter, and love. Their son Jace brings even more happiness into their wonderful life together. On that day they stood by a tree on a hill and started a new life, not only as a couple, but as a family.
Thank you. They are two simple words that can’t convey the true gratitude I have, first for allowing me to capture the love of you as a couple and family, second for trusting me, and finally for your happiness and excitement. In this life we are blessed to meet wonderful people, you and your family are wonderful. I wish you all a long happy blessed marriage full of laughter. Thank you! I can’t wait to document your family as it grows.
